The Dassault Falcon 7X is a highly impressive business jet that stands out due to its large cabin and incredible range of 5,950 nautical miles (11,020 km). It is a product of Dassault Aviation, which happens to be the second-largest in the Dassault Falcon line, known for its outstanding quality and luxury. Introduced at the 2001 Paris Air Show, the Falcon 7X took its maiden flight on 5 May 2005 and began service on 15 June 2007.
Notably, the Falcon 8X, which was first delivered on 5 October 2016, is based on the 7X but has been optimized for even greater range of 6,450 nautical miles (11,950 km), thanks to innovative aerodynamic refinements, engine optimization, and increased fuel capacity. The S-duct central engine is a notable feature of the Falcon 7X, 8X, and Falcon 900, making them the only trijets that are currently being produced.
